The plan involves building a model farm at Pantang Hospital. This farm will train 60 smallholder women farmers. They will learn advanced farming methods to grow more and be more effective. This is being done with the La Nkwantanang Municipal Agriculture Department and Defarmercist.
Separately, 30 unemployed young people are training at the Vegetable Hub of Excellence. This hub is at the University of Ghana, Legon Farms. The overall goal is to spread modern farming practices across Ghana.
